The Secret Passage

Five classmates are chosen to a student club, which aims at helping students discover the wonderful history of Istanbul. They decide to bring out a school newspaper. But they don’t want to just go through books and encyclopedias. That’s boring! They need to investigate the sites themselves.

In the first book the club goes to Hagia Sofia. While going around the premises Bilge sees a kitten in trouble and goes in the bush to help it. Suddenly she finds herself in 535 A.D., right in the middle of the construction of Hagia Sofia. The kitten runs away and while trying to save it Bilge gets in trouble with the construction workers. But how is she going to return?

The five book series is about friends who discover a secret passage, which allows time travel. Whenever they decide to learn about a historical area they end up time travelling. A fun book full of adventures and amazing history.
